Internship program

Equitom Equine Hospital offers an official and recognized 1-year rotating internship program, providing young veterinarians with the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

Our interns rotate on a weekly basis through the clinic's main departments: surgery, anesthesia, orthopedics, internal medicine, intensive care, and reproduction, all under the direct supervision of experienced specialists.

As it is an official internship program, finishing interns will be eligible for a residency program afterwards. Our internship focuses on providing clinical training to recently graduated veterinarians, allowing them to gain comprehensive experience in equine veterinary medicine.

The intern team currently consists of 7 newly graduated veterinarians, and the starting dates are spread throughout the year. Before the official starting date, the new intern is asked to work for one week alongside the colleague they are replacing to ease the adaptation process.
